Dear Seven Circles Community,

This year we have decided to run our Year End Raffle as a hybrid between a Raffle and a "donation appeal" - a Raffle-onation! Instead of having a cornucopia of nice gifts and sending out envelopes full of raffle tickets, we're offering up four really fabulous gifts. We're also doing all of this on line to save on postage and "stamp licking"

Here is the deal: We have four gifts - from "Really Nice" to OMG!

You can "buy in" with a single donation equaling "one raffle ticket," or a series commitment equaling however many tickets you want - up to 12 (by selecting the "until cancelled" link on your payment information).

If you make a monthly donation for six months, it will equal "six raffle tickets," if you make a monthly donation for a year, it will equal "twelve raffle tickets," if you buy a single ticket for $50 it equals a single ticket.

You can determine the price - some folks will want to give $20 a month for a year, others may only be able to afford $5. But what ever cost you choose, and whatever term you select, the number of months equals the number of tickets! (except for $1/month, which costs us more to process than makes sense).

The gifts!:

Grand Prize! We will send a 14" Tipi to Standing Rock in your name. This is a complete fire-retardant treated canvas Tipi with poles, a liner, pins, a door, and stakes. Good to sleep four. Market Value $2000

Second prize: A hand-woven Navajo Tapestry ~24" x 36" They say there is a flaw in this, but I haven't found it yet. Market Value $500

Third prize: Hand-thrown, Pit-fired ceramic pot made by Harold Sloane. Harold's work is really warm and a delight to behold. Market Value $450

Fourth prize: "Circle of Elders" pattern thick-wool Pendleton blanket - prayed in through a Hambleche ceremony. Soft and warm Market value $250

As you donate we'll count the entries, transfer them to tickets, and draw the winners at the New Year's Day sweat in Berkeley.

All proceeds will go toward keeping our fires burning and keeping our Elder Fred Wahpepah warm. Please be generous - in recognition of the dozens of years, hundreds of ceremonies, and thousands of people who have been blessed by Fred's vision and hospitality.
